The Baltimore AGA has addressed issues and challenges facing accountability professionals from local, state, and federal governments, as well as private sector organizations. Currently, our range of affordable and convenient professional education opportunities, our well-respected certification program, and our website and periodic newsletters keep members in touch with the latest developments, making the Baltimore Chapter of the AGA the go-to source for government accountability.

The Baltimore Chapter of the AGA is a diverse group of individuals including students, entry-level employees, senior executives and elected officials from the State of Maryland, Baltimore City, Federal agencies and other local and state governments, school districts, colleges and universities, and private firms. Whatever your role in government financial management, the Baltimore Chapter offers a membership package that provides education, training, and tools to help you operate more efficiently and effectively.

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

I am very honored to be serving as President of the Baltimore Chapter of AGA for the 2015-2016 program year. As the summer is winding down, our program year is just beginning to ramp up. I am excited for all the things that our chapter has planned for the upcoming year. As President, I first want to take the time to thank all of the board members that have volunteered their time to help our chapter be successful for another year. Our dedicated board is what keeps our chapter running year after year. Our board has been busy all summer working to plan another great year filled with relevant educational programs, meaningful community service events, and chapter events for our members. One way for all members to get value for their membership is to participate in the chapter events whether it is joining the board, attending monthly educational meetings or getting involved in the various activities within the community. If you are interested in becoming more involved with the chapter, please reach out to me.
